Person airlifted to hospital after serious crash in Moray

A person has been airlifted to hospital after a serious crash in Moray.

Police said the A98 near the Fochabers roundabout had to be closed in both directions following the crash.

It happened shortly before 08:40.

The Scottish Ambulance Service said an ambulance, a trauma team and an air ambulance were sent to the scene, and that the patient was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
